Profilo Smart are designers and manufacturers of elegant, flexible bathroom systems and accessories that are useable and appealing to everyone regardless of age, ability, or circumstance. Led by Italian designer, Luca Mammi, Profilo Smart are driven by a single vision that accessibility shouldn’t come at the cost of design. Principle were given the task of bringing the brand to life though our design process.

Readapting the bathroom environment brings many advantages. Profilo provide solutions that grow with the needs of the user. The culmination of our workshops was captured in a simple proposition – Design without Limits, or, Senza Limiti, in Italian

IDENTITY – PROFILE OF A BRAND

The simplicity of Profilo’s design aesthetic and the rationale for an architect or specifier to adopt it in designing, say a hotel or development, is difficult to ignore. We looked to design the brand identity in the same light, to underpin its simplicity and logic and so we designed a very simple mark that would adapt to tell that story.

Taking influence from the track or profile of the system, we created the bar mark to give the brand flexibility so that it can move without restraint, wherever it’s needed – Senza Limiti.

BRAND EXPERIENCE – GETTING THE BRAND ON TRACK

Launching the brand to a global market of architects and specifiers, we developed a range of media including website, press, brochureware, catalogues, trade show booth and ephemera. Throughout the process we combined the visual brand with a succinct verbal brand, created to challenge the audience to look to the future and impress on them that Profilo is part of a movement towards design for all individuals.
