Background Story – Corporate Wellness

Woodie’s approached us in early 2018 to create a fun and energetic internal brand to communicate their new corporate wellness initiative.

Woodie’s had invited colleagues to tell them how they rated themselves on various health and wellbeing topics. This survey told them the areas in most need of attention: diet and nutrition, exercise & weight management, financial wellbeing, sleep and mental health.

Woodie’s have a proven track record of being a great place to work. They really wanted to build on their ‘employer of choice’ brand by becoming recognised as a leader in workplace wellness.

bouncing with joy

Health is not just being disease-free. Health is when every cell in your body is bouncing with joy.

We wanted to create a brand that engaged colleagues in a fun & meaningful way by using a bouncy customised font with a bold striking colour palette with energetic imagery of people living life to the fullest.

Creating four pillars, Mood, Money, Move and Meals & Nutrition, allowed Woodie’s to categorise their workplace wellness initiatives. These help Woodie’s to create and promote smaller initiatives internally for their colleagues.

Great place to work

Woodie’s have embraced ‘Wellness at Woodie’s’ as their corporate wellness initiative by improving colleague morale and fostering team sprit and integrated it into their colleague brand. Their commitment to their colleagues wellbeing is felt internally while being experienced in-store by the customer. Woodie’s have been recognised with a ‘Great Place to Work’ award four years in a row as well as ‘Best Workplaces for Women 2020’.
